To obtain the title of Master in Process and Technology Engineering, the student must complete at least a total of 34 credits (each credit is equivalent to 15 class hours), distributed as follows:

Duration

The duration of the course, including the Dissertation Defense, is 24 months (4 semesters), starting from the initial enrollment.

The curriculum of the Doctorate course dialogues with the Master's. A flexible and open curricular organization is conceived to welcome research interests linked to the Program Lines. Thus, the structure emerges from the work that has been developed, in articulation with the Lines and research projects. The proposal aims to strengthen research and high- level intellectual training, offering opportunities to deepen studies in Engineering.

The student of the Doctorate in Engineering of Processes and Technologies must complete, within 48 months, 56 credits (1 credit = 15 hours), distributed as follows:

  • Mandatory Disciplines - 12 credits
  • Elective Disciplines - 24 credits
  • Elaboration of the Thesis - 20 credits

The advisor will recommend the appropriate mandatory and elective disciplines for the doctoral student's training. In addition to completing the credits, to be able to defend the thesis and obtain the title of Doctor, the student must prove, to the Program Collegiate, proficiency in two foreign languages: English (mandatory) and a second foreign language to be indicated by their advisor.
